Installing SMOG
Download and install SMOG on your Mac in a few minutes. Follow these steps to get started.

Installation
1. Download the .dmg file from the button above
Choose the correct build for your Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel) and start the download.
2. Open the downloaded file
Double‑click the .dmg. A window will open with the Smog AI app icon.
3. Drag Smog AI to your Applications folder
Drag the Smog AI icon into Applications to install it on your Mac.
4. Launch Smog AI from Applications
Open Applications, then double‑click Smog AI to start.
5. If prompted, allow microphone and screen recording access
Grant permissions in System Settings when macOS asks. You can update them later in Privacy & Security.
Note
On first launch, macOS may show a security warning. This is normal for some apps. Right‑click Smog AI and select "Open" to run the application.
Installing on Windows
Download the setup file (.exe) from the Windows button above.
Run the downloaded setup file and follow the installer.
Launch Smog AI once the installation is finished.
If prompted, allow microphone access. You can review it later in Windows Settings → Privacy & security → Microphone.
A Windows warning may appear
The Windows beta is not signed yet, so Windows may show a warning when you run the setup. To continue safely:
- Click “More info”
- Click “Run anyway”
