Viewing Your Notes

Access Your Notes Library

Click the SMOG icon in your menu bar

Select "Notes Library" or use ⌘ + L

Browse your notes by date, tag, or search

Organizing Your Notes

Tags & Categories

  • • Add tags during or after transcription
  • • Use hashtags like #meeting #idea #todo
  • • Filter notes by tags in the library
  • • Bulk edit tags for multiple notes

Search & Filters

  • • Full-text search across all notes
  • • Filter by date range
  • • Sort by creation time or duration
  • • Star important notes for quick access

Exporting Your Notes

Export Single Note

Export individual notes in your preferred format:

  1. 1. Open the note you want to export
  2. 2. Click the "Export" button (or press ⌘ + E)
  3. 3. Choose your format: Markdown, Plain Text, or JSON
  4. 4. Select save location and click "Save"

Bulk Export

Export multiple notes or your entire library:

  1. 1. In Notes Library, select multiple notes (⌘ + click)
  2. 2. Or use "Select All" for entire library
  3. 3. Click "Export Selected" in the toolbar
  4. 4. Choose format and export options
  5. 5. Notes will be saved as individual files or combined

💡 Tip: Use CSV export for importing into spreadsheets or databases
